Fiona Clark2024-10-27I am a new patient at this surgery having been with my last dentist in Bath for over 30 years, even travelled down to Bath when we moved to. Malvern 7 years ago, decided it was time to change and I can say I have no regrets. My husband and I were very impressed when We first went in to make inquiries about moving and were very impressed how friendly and welcoming we were made that We had no hesitation about joining. I have since had a check up and hygiene appointments and again staff very friendly and helpful. Explaining everything they were doing and giving very good advice. Again friendly receptionist that told us our next appointments with dentist and hygienist was booked in. No hesitation on recommending this dentist practice.

Step 01
During your first visit, our expert team will assess your dental health and determine if implants are the best option for you. X-rays and advanced imaging will guide us in creating a customised treatment plan tailored to your needs.
Step 02
The implant procedure is quick and minimally invasive. A small titanium post will be inserted into your jawbone, serving as a strong foundation for your new tooth. You’ll be comfortable throughout, thanks to local anaesthesia or sedation options.
Step 03
Over the next few months, the implant naturally fuses with your jawbone in a process called osseointegration. This creates a secure and long-lasting anchor for your replacement tooth.
Step 04
Once healing is complete, a custom-made crown, bridge, or denture is attached to the implant. Crafted to match the size, shape, and colour of your surrounding teeth, the result is a beautiful, functional smile.
Step 05
With regular dental check-ups and proper oral care, your dental implant can last a lifetime, helping you enjoy a healthier, more confident smile for years to come.
Dental implants are artificial tooth roots made of titanium that are surgically placed into the jawbone. They act as a sturdy foundation for replacement teeth or bridges. Dental implants fuse with the jawbone over time, providing a stable and permanent solution for missing teeth.

The cost of dental implants varies depending on your individual needs and the complexity of your case, including the number of implants required and any additional treatments such as bone grafting. Prices typically range from £2,750 – £18,000, reflecting the high-quality, long-term solution they provide.
At Malvern Hills Dental Practice, we offer a free consultation, where our dentists will assess your case, explain the best treatment plan for you, and answer any questions you may have. With our flexible payment plans, we make high-quality dental implants affordable and cost-effective, helping you achieve a healthy, confident smile with financial peace of mind.
Dental implant surgery is usually performed under local anesthesia and is generally not painful. After the surgery, you may experience some discomfort and swelling, but this can be managed with pain relief medication and ice packs.
With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime. While the crown may need replacement after 10–15 years, the titanium implant itself is incredibly durable.
The implant process is typically performed under local anaesthesia, so you won’t feel pain during the procedure. Any post-surgery discomfort can be managed with over-the-counter pain medication and typically subsides within a few days.
The length of the surgery varies depending on the number of implants being placed and the complexity of the case. In general, the procedure can take anywhere from one to a few hours.
The entire treatment process, including healing time, typically spans 3–6 months. This gives the implant sufficient time to bond with your jawbone before the final restoration is placed.
Simply care for them as you would your natural teeth—brush, floss, and schedule regular dental cleanings. Good oral hygiene helps prevent any issues and ensures the longevity of your implants.
Not at all—implants can actually improve speech by eliminating the worry of dentures shifting or slipping. Your new teeth will feel secure, allowing you to speak with clarity and confidence.

The success rate of dental implant surgery is generally high, with a success rate of around 95%. However, the success of the procedure depends on several factors, including the individual’s overall health and the skill of the dental surgeon.
All-on-4 dental implants, also known as full mouth dental implants, are a permanent solution for replacing a full set of missing or failing teeth. This technique uses four strategically placed implants per arch (upper or lower jaw) to support a fixed set of natural-looking replacement teeth.
